As above really but I'm starting at the tank and working forward, I'm still not sure if replacing the pump alone has worked as i have been rather busy.
So pump so far if still no joy I will do to
The fuel pressure regulator (FPR) as mine is not in the best condition. I would also renew and fuel pipe front to back.
Then I will have to remove carb and mess about inside but I'm insure as what to do. I have had it explained to me but I really need to see it myself to k now for sure that i understand.
The old pump I removed used to belong to Jermaine (he gave me it as a job lot of spare) I had to fit that pump as my original packed up. Also he said when he had that pump he was getting the same issues as me. Fingers crossed.
Here's a picture from this summer when a few of us yorkshire boys went for a boost, ended up at squires cafe it was a bit of a chav fest to be fair.
Well I visited AET turbos yesterday to have a go on there hub dyno and the results are in.
133hp at the wheels I was expecting more due to how fast the car seems although I have never been to any dyno session before with any car.
Heres a graph
Yes soon mate hopefully this weekend Mr firth has my angle grinder that he should be returning it to me soon. I need it to make some adjustments to the brackets then hopefully I can get that fixed in place then I can start fitting the pipe work that is coming to me on Sunday. Also got my replica grill today from evobits. It will take a few coats of primer and a fair few hours of sanding back but hopefully we will get there !
Been routing my pipe work for cooler and fitting said cooler I had to make some adjustments I e done the carb side of cooler but I had to pop out for some more sparks for the grinder
ok all built back up and have been out for a road test and all is well. This is very disturbing as when I fit new parts I always have teething issues. Anyway all is good ive ordered a pipe beading tool So I can put the beads on the alloy intercoer pipe work so they don't blow off over time.
