5 GT Turbo F4Rt - hopefully the correct decision

New alternator turned up today, will fit it tomorrow and hope it solves my issue.

@Brigsy - picture of swirl pot set up. Not much to look at. Basically runs from tank to filter, filter to walbro in standard place, walbro to swirl pot, swirl pot to 044, 044 to rail. Not sure if I should consider a filter after 044 and before rail but seeing as it’s filtered before first pump I haven’t bothered yet.

Filter should be after the pump btw, I run Tank>Pump>Swirl>Tank (no filter in lift circuit) and then Swirl>Pump>Filter>Rail>Swirl on the pressure circuit.

All the OE applications run Pump>Filter>Rail>Return.

I don’t disagree with you and the way you describe is what I’ve read too but logically thinking why would it matter having the fuel filtered before or after the pot ? Just playing devils advocate.

A little road test around the green again after sorting gear linkage once and for all. Throttle cable is wank so that needs attention now too. Will fit alternator later and pop to Forge for some smaller turbo water hose, got a coolant leak as I’ve used slightly too big hose.
