Oh sh****t @Norwich Nick !! Gutted to read you’ve sliced thru something mate.. looks like your Christmas 23 is going to be a TAD different, like mine is…!? Hope they can get you sorted mate! I’ve heard some good things about the Norfolk and Norwich hospital, so hope you’re in safe hands..???
I’m sporting a very similar look at the moment mate, I didn’t think it was catching

(Me, @Millie_Bee and our Niece at a light show last night)
As for an update on me, I’ve managed to get myself at the top of the list for an operation on Friday 5th January 2024 with a top orthopaedic surgeon in the UK, where he’s hoping to rewire me somehow and give me some movements in my right arm. He has stated that I need to get used to the fact I’m never going to get full movement or control or strength in my right arm again, and it’s always going to be an assist arm to my left arm.

I’m slowly coming to terms with the fact that I have indeed changed my life, but have still not come terms with the fact I might not be able to drive a manual car again…
Of course, it’s still early days and I might get more movement back than he suggests, but only time will tell.
Thanks for asking Nick, this forum is very dear to me, so I do use it as a little bit of a support network.
Get well soon mate!
