id really like to keep it stock setup if possible, though if it ends up being that tight i might just have to go that route, should be mounted a fair bit lower thus have more clearance. I do know of another twingo with the same stock location turbo so i should be possible.....
he has a downpipe with a crack in so I have something to hack to bits
Alternator is mounted in the standard laguna position, the GT item fits the same but is physically smaller. I chopped the top and bottom off the bracket off though, top section was removed as it was for a pas pump, the bottom part of the bracket that would hold the ac pump fowled on the subframe so i chopped that off too. I'll grab a few extra pics of it tomorrow if you need it.
what mc did you swap too. ive seen peugeot 406 v6 mentioned?
ugh then ill have to make new brake lines. I also have a sealed reservoir on the top that would probably need to be retained for the hydro clutch to carry on working. might have to have another look at it all tomorrow.
PMT throttle body adapter wrapped up. Chomped out of some aluminium plate. This allows a GT Throttle body to bolt up to the 225 inlet manifold, utilises the stock gaskets either side. Another little thing finished up on the swap. Thanks for taking a look
I did have that thought, would be a neater solution. That said I already had a rising rate reg fitted in the bay and it cost me £8 to make the adapter vs the cost of the 250 inlet and rail?
The port match of 250 inlet is quite bad to the 225 head, i compared them ages ago when building my engine up, would need a bit of fettling really. The other downside is expensive and hard to find, took me ages to find one.
