Twingo Adey's Twingo GT (F4R+T 2.0ltr engine swap)

So first day of new ownership and a few very minor things to sort. Secure the battery in the boot, easy and quick 👍🏻 identify and replace duff injector causing the eml and lumpy idle. Whilst the rail was out I decided to pop the multimeter on all of them, all well below par, so with the 4 injectors tarby gave me and 2 I had left in my stash I managed to find 4 matched to refit. All seems good now so just need to give it an eyeball and book a test.

So passed its MOT, then i got stuck in the mother of all downpours, stuck in floods, the wee twingo did its best to keep me safe and dry (ish). Ended up having to get a hotel for the night. Ive never shit myself so much, water kissing the wingmirrors! She is very wet and running on 3 now. Hopefully its just an injector again....... Ive tested it with the multimeter and im getting totally open on number 3 so fingers crossed its just that. Oh and i lost my number plate in the flood water. Fun times.

So new number plate ordered to replace the one that went missing and a steering wheel spacer ordered too. To the specs others use to fit 197 wheels in 182s so should be correct. 29mm od 20mm id and i had it made 3mm thick. Will see if it works when it arrives and stops the wheel rubbing the cowling.

Found my old intercooler shrouds in the shed so wrapped them with satin black sticky back to neaten them up. Recovered the fog lights with yellow tint whilst there too. Still waiting on the new number plate but it should be here in the next day or 2. Can you tell im bored yet..

Think I'd be leaving the number plate off the front for aesthetic reasons only. I've run my bm without one for the past 3 years with no bother. Unless there is a recess for one I can't see there.
nope but the plinth is where it should go. Have you not been pulled for not running a plate?

Nope. There's a holder that has to be bolted to the bumper in order to mount the plate. Import rules state if the bumper was not designed for a plate it doesn't need one. Although it's not an import it was clearly not designed to have one without that extra bit. Whose to say when I bought it it came with it. Also bikes don't need them. I'd def get a fine but I'd argue it pretty hard.
The clio has a recess so would look stupid if it didn't have one so it will stay on that.

I did something unthinkable! I Raised the suspension on the twingo! only by 10/15mm but it should make it handle abit nicer, will look to add a rear arb at somepoint which should help it handle a whole load better if I get it out on track in 2021. That said it wasn't ever bad, I just spent too long listening to people talk on you tube about cog and roll centre's
