I'll be watching this one like a peeping tom just out of custody, be interesting to see how a car that is obviously challenged in certain areas, fares when you dig deeper.

I find it bemusing how some cars are really bad round the screen, but no worse anywhere else, is it historical screen replacement damaging paint, or starting leaks? Or is it sunroof cars , leaking down door pillars?

I like the EFI conversions going on as well, I've been thinking playing around with a speeduino/megasquirt etc on old points/carb replacement, just as a side...side..side project...

I am hoping I have found all the real body work needs.....if it fares far worse I am fly tipping it at yours @Turbell ;) lol.

I am replacing some bits as a matter of course while there but a few areas do need exposing to really know what else lurks. Currently building the list of treatment products in advance so it never needs visiting again in my lifetime :)

Non sunroof option on mine but clearly water was held under windscreen seal and expect excelerated some of the problems

So no real progress on the 5 but massive progess with moving home (oh the joys) and the 5 now in its new far better garages ;)

I have not moved my other cars to focus on this one and looking forward to new found space. Got a 200ltr bad boy compressor hard plumbed in with hard line pick up point around the garage, metal & wood lathe :) happy boy and help speed up progress

Not sure its quite as big as @DaveL485 bad arse garage but definetly big enough ;)

Lol, yes the tandam side garage has all the period features :) just a bonus the garages and space came with a property also

Definetly some farthers day extended time in there today ;)

Looks a good space , be able to work on cars and good storage space .
I love that next to my house . I am lucky I have lots of space but not at home .
When we move next , at least a double garage or better still the space to build one .
Once your settled in expect visitors .
It’s surprising how many cars you can mend over a brew on a Sunday morning stood in a garage .

Notice there's a drain inspection cover in garage............I'd have to drop a throne in a corner, that would be the ultimate for me, in garage bog, nice velvet curtain to pull round on a brass pole.......little magazine rack.....
You crazy!!!?

If I made my garage that comfortable, my wife would be bringing my bed out there next!!! 😂

Well it does have as per pic in there which I am going to fit a sink setup....maybe old school small electic heater thing also

Started to freshen the garage doors up and 1st pass losing the old turquoise.....and even a quick sand back and treat 'Oakwood' sad but I think it looks better

Not too much time free today with the youngest turning 4, try harder tomorrow as off work this week
