Once finished the floor decided engine and box back in to design engine enclosure and basic routing of coolant/cc pipes etc which will dictate fuel tank options and back of floorplan before fixing the rot section.

While will be using sheet aluminium for the panels not decided on ali or steel box for the frame

Steel easier and have MIG but Aluminium definitely save me a few Kgs - welcome views on this and size/spec - I dont think it needs anything too thick, can go spool gun on the R tech but not sure warrants buying anTIG although like to learn.....in reality might be one to get a local place to weld if go this route

Power hour 💪

Needs a bit of tidy with dolly and hammer but be far easier when back on rotisserie, rest of old mount off 👍

Then as warming up to engine back in decided to repair the gearbox mount that I had cut the other tab off before as was damaged, might need replacing with competition spec longer term but more than fine for now.

Made tab welded on, cleaned up
