Yep I was in no doubt it would be far worse once stripped back but had hoped some cut and shut on the surround as my least fave bit but if im lucky will then just be sills, jacking points, and few patches but will get done and resist the full fat @Big Steve - Raider restore done to the 11 :ah:

Plan is get back to bare shell and can take ot from there but will be summer before I know it and boosting about in it :drinks.gif:

Loads of good bits left on the donor should hve took front end off

I considered it but while the screen was spot on there was rust on the know problem area that may have come in useful and looks like my car does not need any other bits that are not going to be new (sills and jacking points) will repair any minors to keep as much of the original car as possible :acute.gif:

In fairness just lazy as some bits could have been sold or donated to the 5 cause :read.gif:

G388 BBX will live on through the eyes of silver bullet :ce:

Also purchased some parts last week in preperation for project 'finger out my arse' lol

Have also arranged to help a friend build his spray booth in coming weeks also which helps my cause as I cant spray lol.

May even pick up the rs3 dsg box from friends unit if he is there for a break later as that needs taking the the rwd 5

Busy busy day ahead and off to retro show tomorrow for further insperation.

Right bacon sarnie time and get on with it
