Its not that bad Dave :|

Will be resurrected just rusty crap that need cutting out and replacing along with checking / cleaning / refurbing / replacing of every other nut and bolt. It is not a concours build or totally std so not getting too hung up on parts I can make but original condition the goal

Big pain is due to that area it's dash out to do properly and well every other tiny items and might as well spray the whole inside also

Collected yesterday and home with no drama. Scheduled to cut up next weekend weather no good here and limited run of time free to finish in one go

Nothing exciting to picture other than I had the help of 2 super sons arguing over seat in low loader and who did the winch :D

Just need to decide if any other bits to cut out and keep or scrap the lot other than screen. Subframe the same?

Well I was planning on cutting up the spare chassis this weekend but compressor failed and seem to have decided on a hard plumbed setup for the garage and big bad boy compressor. Plan to have in temp setup next week to get the plasma cutting done

WP_20171007_18_02_19_Pro.webp waiting for action :)

May steal the inner rear arch sections but scraping the rest took far long than thought to cut up so low loader again :)

Worth removing tank?

DG

As this is an auto going to steal pedal layout and shifter as they may be useful on the rs3/dsg 5 ;)

Have to say weekend of decorating and diy and few hours on the car.......im done in and have cold beer in hand pretending the kid meltdown around me is not real lol ;D

No not yet, we were moving house so more diy and decisions in the air

We have decided to stay a few more years and convert the attic but I'm not doing that lol. And got some time in the garage this weekend on all things Renault

Will update some more pics

This is my next project. You can do a dormer without planning if the dormer is at the back instead of the front and the dormer volume is <40m³ , it can't be higher than the roof centreline, it has to end 20cm before the roof edge and you can't have a balcony. Stick within those rules and, apparently, no planning needed.

You can also fit a velux or two in the front as long as they don't protrude >20cm up from the roof line.

Let to believe this is going to change going forward and approval needed but I am not sure I can even be bothered to think of doing myself, I may look at saving of plumbing / electric donkey work and do the dry lining etc but rather use time in the garage :read.gif:
