5 GT Turbo The second coming…. The F4Rt saga

Turns out the downpipe flexi doesn’t have a hole, winner.

I think to fit the front mounted inlet that I want the rad is going to have to go, not sure moving it over will provide enough room and would likely negatively effect airflow.

I’m going to order another 02M/F4R adaptor plate if Scoff has one in stock.

I’m definitely going to get the engine loom remade or at the very least rerouted, it’s less than ideal running directly above manifold/turbo.

Todays task was to remove the sound deadening, still a bit to do under the seats and the boot floor, It’s surprisingly heavy.

The drivers side floor pan as seen better days but no holes so I’ll take it. The carpet will cover it so all good.

Hasn’t been started for 6 months, fired up first turn of the key.

If my house renovation project manages to not get any crazier budget wise I think I’m going to send the car straight to the bodyshop after Ash has completed his work.

I might as well get it as good as I can, do inner and outer sills, the windscreen surround, bumper brackets and jacking points along with a lick of paint.
