A quick update on the 5, the coil overs have been fitted.

I’ve decided not to go down the Julian Godfrey inlet manifold route as although it’s awesome it would also cost the best part of £4K and I just can’t justify it, and that’s coming from me.

So we are sticking to option 1 and Ash is going to make me one, progress has been a little slow but I’m really in no rush. I’m so busy with our house renovation, work and my RX7.

What throttle body did you decide on?

I’m going to use the 182 DBW and pedal. Think I’m going to go with Haltech 1500. I like their dash options too so I can get rid of the pillar pod, as you know it’s a tight fit.

I told Gaz what I wanted and they sorted it all for me. Gave them weight etc taking in to account the heavier engine. I’ve got the spring rates written down somewhere, ill dig them out.

If only we had thought to have included a parts database for every model made in the digital age in the forum, maybe under the banner of "parts lookup" or something intuitive like that, and placed the link in the banner at the top of every page.
