Minor update - picked up an AN6 adaptor for the Power Steering rack, looks a good fit

But I've learned for Andy... Last time I saw him was at Malcolm's Funeral... It's Sad he passed away.

Yeah it's this one, it was planned as a multi-part thing over a few issues

Hi all, i'm back after a while, working hard on my own (two jobs, plus extras). Today, the quadra doesn't run again... really need to find parts not available anymore... that's why I'm searching everywhere... But i'm alive

Sorry for the delay in posting again, but had lots of problems on my own... but seeing my Quadra sleeping in the garage is a real pain in the bottom for me... so must make it drive again. My traffic is finished and I'm waiting for parts for my Baccara, so no other choice than working on my QUADRA.

Still no braking assistance... tried to change the relay (often in cause)... result : the pump doesn't turn on automatically (except if i'm using a screwdriver to shunt it... ground problem !!)... tried to drain all circuit.... Damn it, "back brake regulator, ref 7700774381 is dead).... and few rust everywhere to treat... WANT TO SAVE THIS BEAUTY.... I'm gonna warn you ASAP !!!! if some of you have enough parts for Quadra, and wanna help me, don't hesitate, I'll appreciate !!

Is that an update I smell? Yes, yes it is!

Time to lose some wheel arch. And a significant chunk of door (gulp) - and some sill! Shoehorned in there... 8J x 18" for info.










This is about suspension ride height (planned). Wheel now clears at full compression with no spring in place.



@Mark_L on the grinder this time, my metalwork skills are not quite refined anough for this kind of surgery!

Yes, small flare to clear. It was that or cut it higher, so went withe the flare. Can always chop it if I dont like it. Bear in mind the OE arch lip sits in line with the bottom of the flare on the door... makes you realise how much has already been hacked away!

Mark also redid my effort on the steering rack mount. I wasnt happy with what i'd done, it was functional but looked rough.
