No chance, don't have the budget to do what I want by the end of this year.

At best I reckon summer 2021, i've waited so long to do it and even built the garage for this resto so no half measures. Full on Europa Cup rep look with cage, 4wd and north of 400hp or bust.

And this stupid bit at the back thats there for no apparent reason. Is it neat? No. Do I care? No. It's hidden inside the sill.

Then started refitting the outer sill



Welding is good, though suffered a bit on a few points where it was just burning away the Renault metal, it's just so bloody thin at some points.













Small update but that took the best part of a day and a half of twatting about, I still have to weld up the inside-rear of the sill and trim the back to shape, then grind back the ugly bits and paint it.

eBay speculative bid, didn't think i'd win at the price they sold for....


Reckon they're as close as i'll get without spending mega money.... original Europa cup wheels are £700-£1000 EACH, used, 30 years old and different sizes front and back (17" & 16") and also are centre lock so the Bola's will suffice.



Body wise I only need the front wings to complete the kit.

I think I am going to have Pro Race 1.2 8x17" for the track (i've already got two sets of em) with slick or semi-slick, and the Bola's with road tyres for drool factor.

I do love Pro-race 1.2 rims, the only issue I have now with having them on my car is @la21t has them too, and I don't think you can really beat the colour combo and i'm a bit jelly



Literally the only thing i'd change is bigger brakes at the back to fill out inside the wheel a bit, and a Feu Orange instead of the magic tree
