Should probly do abit of an update also I’ve got a shed load of questions to ask the gurus out there

Decided to change the subframe as the old one was real knocked up and bent looked like it’s had a bump in the past

So got plenty of stuff to get fitted but engine does turn over now going for a low boost f4rt obviously be nice to hit 250bhp and be some what reliable

So questions:
1. Where the hell is the best way to route the intercooler pipe work no room anywhere ???
2. The wiring I’m using the Renault 5 loom where do you connect the black wires for the alternator.
3. what’s the mod people use for the 182 fuel rail I’m half tempted just buy a ktec one but price and there not open.

Also following the wiring diagram from efi parts. Is that right that all they all share the 5v feed used on the TPS ??

I had to cut holes

Only need one wire for 172 alternator, if I recall it’s just the yellow signal wire and purple was to dash however I had charging issues with mine so had to run a separate charger wire to an LED I hid behind dash

Use ph1 fuel rail if you can.

Yes but if I recall not using a ph2 rail. @Adey will know.

ph2 rail modified for a ph1 setup with a 3 bar fpr. Not tried it though tbh.

that just allows the fuel to run straight through the rail to an external fpr.

Yeh I’ve got an external fpr anyway that I bought for my efi set up so should be all good

Yes, it's a clean supply that feeds sensors.
