It looks as though it's been towed from the crossmember. I'll have to lift the radiator and aircon condenser before I can hammer it straight again.
I've not disturbed the aircon system, but the guy said it blew cold when it was running, so I presume it still has a charge. I've not taken it to bits specifically because I don't want the seals to dry out. It is probably due an overhaul- the compressor hasn't siezed up so a change of oil, an evacuation and a re-charge should see it working well again.
I have one on the suction side that has a standard looking Schraeder cap on, but can't see anything down the neck, shall have to put a light to it; the other one is much more heavy duty, on the pressure side.
normally they twist up more than that, a hammer will sort that, seen much worse.
The caps have schrader valves under them, use a screwdriver and poke it, either one will do as the system is equalised when its not running. It shoudl spray out some oily mess, if nothing comes out theres nothing in it.
