Other ( non Renault ) 69 Austin America

My R8 turbo has a new stable mate. A (very British) Austin America. My wife says it's groovy.

I bought it on the Bringatrailer aution site (No Reserve: 1969 Austin America 4-Speed) with assurances it was in excellent condition. The motor has been upgraded and body is solid. However, on the first drive there was heavy vibration in the front end under breaking. The source turned out to be a bent RHS drive axle. Then I found out parts for the Austin/MG 1100/1300 are very hard to find in the US. I didn't do my resaerch before the purchase. I did find a parts source in the UK that stocks the axle I need plus many other parts. But, they don't ship to the US.

So, I need someone in the UK who can buy the parts for me and re-ship them to me. I will include a fee of the offeror's choice (within limits) in the deal. If there is a helpful soul on TurboRenault, please PM me to discuss details.

I'll try to keep you all updated on the car's progress.
