Yep. My main problem was trying to get ones that had a wide viewing angle, or make them have a wide viewing angle by sanding the ends partially opaque.
Haven't got a whole lot to swap, but I'm on the lookout for body trim pieces, the bits that go behind the rear windows and the rear bodykit bits behind the rear wheels.
I improved the design- the resistors fit much further down into the metal bit, meaning the LED sits flush with the top- this is better because the LED's have a fairly narrow beam, and the further the LED is away (be it only a mm or so) means you get better even illumination.

No, and the crank was a one-off. It's a proper mishmash of different parts, some of which fit, others don't.
Heck, even the fuel injection is a hash-up because it's a multipoint injection board set up for singlepoint work, with a bunch of the components just plain missing from the board.
