Phil's AMC GTA

this is really the coolest renault in the us i think, the rally colours in your avatar are very similar to the ones used on the old wuatros of the mid eighties, i like it

Yeah, they are similar. I simply copied the late colours for the works rally team in '87. They ran some 11 Turbo's. Might as well keep the colours correct ;)

That's the only one I could find. That image is what I based mine off.

most certainly worth every penny though, class looking car, where will you get the stickers done? will they be expensive over there

Get a base white paint job then a wrap for the yellow? May work out a lot cheaper, white paint is the cheapest and lightest paint you get.

Local place does cut/printed/imaged vinyl stickers. Was was going to get the bigger ones cut from vinyl and the smaller ones with the logos on printed on to rectangles to stick on

be lucky to get that charged, i assume its r12?

Then again just fire some propane in it, there will be some Mexicans that'll do it

Can still get people to charge freon so long as the system is in GWO

Case of finding someone willing to.

If I can't then I might have to shell out and get somewheres to convert it to R134a and then all the pain-in-the-assedness of R12 goes away

not been able to do it in the uk for years.

R134a isn't just a quick conversion either.

I'm still waiting on my damn F gas certificate to come25th of January I done the 5 year replenishment course.

Yup
I'm going to ask about because having aircon down here is a necessity, not just a luxury.

Painting the car white will help though
