The usual waffle about the car, a trip to EFI parts and the results. Small issue with the actuator on the way meaning I drove 100+ miles with no boost, It became an NA f4r.... it was slow lol. The next video should be a lot better
I'm going 172 cams is easier with a 200 head, maybe use 250 inlet and wossner pistons and pec rods adding some decent valves in too. Hoping for around 360 with the 20T.
Should be great in the back of a 5 with Lsd and track width of a 197!!
More parts here to just sit in the garage until I can actually roll around under the car. Set of rs133 rear hubs with 7mm taken off the backs. This should 1, make them totally true to the stub axle itself and 2, give me some extra clearence to stop the wheels catching the arches
In with excuses, it was wet and would wheel spin in 3rd. This is the only pull I got but its all in 4th, I'm normally in 3rd till 95leptons. I think on a dry day in 3rd it would of been closer. The car is a dtc e92 m3 with decats and mapped. Not too shabby for a twingo I don't think
Another brief dragy update..... doubt I will be able to better this 60 to 100 time tbh, the gearbox doesn't lend itself to really fast shifts, not sure if a different oil could speed things up but it's a pretty fast car now tbh, though a 4.99 would be nice....
I will if I can try some 0 to 60s and quarters but finding somewhere flat and relatively safe to do it locally is difficult. Will hopefully venture to pod soon
Fair play mate, that’s impressive. I think my 5 GTT was 5.1 and that felt rapid and was easily beating M3/4s and Golf Rs etc. That’s one quick little car you’ve built.

cheers bud, I think its up there with one of the best (if not ugliest) car I've built. I'm not sure how much longer the gearbox is going to last but its definitely proven itself so far, Its a really good allrounder. absolutely love shocking the German motorway brigade in it though
Been a long while since I've done any actual work on the Twingo, so today I took it upon myself to do what shall be called the @CreweTube mod. Shave over 3kg saved by whipping out most of the rear bumper support and crash protection. All good unless I get a shunt so fingers crossed that doesn't happen
