Im being a little cheap on the next build, i found on cliosport a 300 mile old cambelt kit, dephaser and water pump so swiped them for mine.

On this cars running its still giving me the odd pop, very slight, same seller had a set of brand spanking injectors so ive got them coming too, hopefully ill only need them for a few months, I did also find a broken wire for the knock sensor so thats been repaired also.

indeed, its me, ill get bored soon...... but the cleaning alone has added a fair few 100 on the value im sure lol

Thats what I like, doing projects that are done well but cheap in the right areas. When they're sold you don't lose much on it then n it's onto the next bit of automotive fun.

No joy with the new lambda ?

its loads better, no actual misfire now, just the odd hesitation or pop now and then. New lambda on there and new injectors and the wiring to the knock sensor fixed. I dont think most people would notice it now to be honest its just me looking out for it i think. No harm in new bits though, even if its only for a short time.

for ref you couldnt tell the difference in these and the ones fitted to the car already and the other sets ive got
