Gave the headlights a proper go today. 600 grit 1200 then 2k wet and dry followed by the spinny thing. Not 100% but an easy 90% so im happy. Makes the front end so fresh in comparison to how it did, probably took about 2.5 hours for me to do. Saves a few pennies on new units.

Oh i made some more space on the inlet manifold and finished clocking the turbo, might even be back where it started now after all the faffing. Bags of space on the outlet now

Im being a little cheap on the next build, i found on cliosport a 300 mile old cambelt kit, dephaser and water pump so swiped them for mine.

On this cars running its still giving me the odd pop, very slight, same seller had a set of brand spanking injectors so ive got them coming too, hopefully ill only need them for a few months, I did also find a broken wire for the knock sensor so thats been repaired also.

Thats what I like, doing projects that are done well but cheap in the right areas. When they're sold you don't lose much on it then n it's onto the next bit of automotive fun.

Not yet, it HAS to be a white one.

More parts delivered through the post and from @Spooky from the PMT SW divisions storage shed. Some for the turbo build and a new set of injectors for whilst the cars been driven daily on the current engine

Cleaned up a spare rail and popped the new injectors in then fitted to the car. Will give it a drive tomorrow and see if theres any difference.

its loads better, no actual misfire now, just the odd hesitation or pop now and then. New lambda on there and new injectors and the wiring to the knock sensor fixed. I dont think most people would notice it now to be honest its just me looking out for it i think. No harm in new bits though, even if its only for a short time.
