I had the pipes made at a commercial spares place in Warwick I have got a issue though ..... The pipe is same length but bore is bigger and has the braiding inside and a outer sleeve now it don't flex as much as the old pipe so I can't quite get it to bend enough to line the threads up square ! Always something it never goes to plan when I fix my cars lol I didn't think it would matter when he said the bore is bigger I was in a rush so just said yea if it's fixed that's fine lol

Maybe if I cut the braid off it might flex a bit more bit dont want it to melt

well today consisted of refitting my oil line and test driving it again pipe was a bit awkward to fit as its a reinforced pipe that didn't flex half as much but its on and not leaking so that's a bonus went out to burn off the oil that plastered the exhaust and all seems well it smoked for a while but that's cleared now so I thought I would treat it to a wash
it came up better than I expected but its a half arsed job so should look better when I polish it up

another question I have is though as I cant find one of these for sale anywhere at the moment what sort of value are these cars worth im a relative newbie to this sort of car so not sure what sort of price they go for and if there is any demand for them ?? if anyone has an idea on value I would be interested to see what people think just for future reference really.
im not planning on selling soon as im still loving it

For minters, and i mean the best of the best, £2500 or so, £3000 for a Quadra.
Average condition, £1000-£1500 depending on issues, phase and 2 or 4wd
Sheds £400-£700 depending on issues, phase and 2 or 4wd

found a issue today ...... not sure if anyone can help but here goes
the fuel gauge is a digital gauge and lets be fair we know old French electrics aren't the best :/ it shows the miles left etc then as soon as the light is on it shows 0 miles so I have no idea how far I have left lol if I work to the rule 10 miles on the red I should be cool yeah ........ lol
anyone else had experience with how reliable or unreliable as the case my be these gauges are

Same as the megane. Once you get around 35-50 miles left ( depending on how you are driving it ) the light comes on , and you have no idea.

Tip : When light comes on goto petrol station

that's what i'm planning on doing but if im ever caught short its handy to have a rough idea I spose I can work it out next time I fill up lol that's probably best way actually thinking about it just clock what it does to a gallon when I next fill up the gauge shows gallons for seem reason rather than litres which is annoying ........

You get the 0_1 at 0.9 gallons left. I would assume any further than 20 miles driving like a granny and I would be out, broken down and helpless.

I haven't got any mate, just 2 spare headlamps is all ive got but I wouldnt swap them for a naked cuddle with Kelly Brook lol
