5 GT Turbo Raider Update....

So a little update.
Got my head back from CTM and over the moon with the work. Expensive but we'll worth it I feel.


Also a new waterpump

The heads on and fluids topped up. Fired up and sounded really loud compared to the last time it was running.
Found a coolant leak as I hadn't put a gasket on the inspection plate on the head at the fly wheel end. Fitted that last night.
Just need to wait for my new fan relay and oil so I can run it up to temp then service it after the heads had a re torqued.

Got an email from CTM today with the spec of the head they did me.

Port & Polish full race spec
Supply & fit valve seats forbidder valves
35.7mm Stainless Steel inlet valves
31mm stainless steel exhaust valves
Duplex race spec valve springs
new valve guides
unleaded conversion
skim min to clean
new steel retainers for springs
new valve collets
and they built up head.

haha its gone got an OE one on now mate. No fog lights either due to the FMIC. but tempted to get the brake ducts i seen on here to see if they'll fit.
