Me and my GTX

Sod! Mt tax is £180 a year! Will hold off on the turbo till Ive had my license a bit longer as it would hurt a little at the mo! Managed to get my car knocked down to under £300 3rd party F&T, being a girly does help :)

Will hope to get to a meet soonish.

Drove again today (and yes I did get P Plates much to my shame) I love my car again so all is good with the world, he was fun to drive. :) Having a few bevvies now which is a bad idea as I have to be up for work at half 6, wont be driving tomorrow :)

ooooor the 1.4 pushrod 1930s made engine ??? or the 1.8 16v (which if you through as much as you did at a C1J would kill it all day long in every aspect) hummm go figure

but im talking standard engine straight swap pound for pound (tax unimportant as she already owns a 1.7) the c1j is pure shite

no cambelts to worry about, and with a bleed valve and a few cheeky carb mods you can have a weapon. i'm not slating the 1.8 16v... i have one in my scab.. just saying for ease of it, eg. no ecu to worry about etc. etc. its the easiest swap, especially if you have a donor gtt...

and as for the 1930's design... mine still manages 256lbft torque... not bad for a 1397cc OHV pushrod 8v :renault:

Anyone feeling déjà vu???

I'm feeling confused - whaddid I miss ;)

Ah well, survived the day so off home to........... have more beer, well it is the middle of the week!

well by the sounds of it I will look forward to the start of season meet :) Somewhere near me in honor of me finally doing my test and getting my car sorted would be nice lol.

I live a couple of miles from Matchams but after the Lapland horror I think they're more likely to blow the place up than ever let anyone there again :)

tbh, i must as i hate it, 60ish pound that much more to pay really, you'll easily spend £60 for boost pipes for the c1j engine + plus the other pipes lol
