I book it in at the local garage who we've always used. It's definately a no frills place but it's good honest work.
He mentioned rear brake pads have a few thousand left in them and will need changed, then he laughed when I said that'll be about 5 years time then
I always wait with the car too, was pleased to see him washing his hands and removing overalls before getting in! :approve:
I knows really should drive it more. I had no choice but to have it out yesterday in the torrential rain, and in a wierd way I enjoyed it!
I think the other car was Mulgari?? Never heard any more since. Hope it's being saved! One things for sure, the straight, clean Mars Phase 2's are definitely pretty rare!
Once you get stuck out in it doesnt really matter, it can be even more fun on a winding B road, makes it feel like a rally car :race: Plus a little less traction is much more fun/ involved/ risky!!!
On the plus side when you get back and its filthy you feel like you get an even bigger transformation after the effort to clean it.
Yeah thats the chap, Mulgari, his car looked mega, I would be very intrested to hear about how the accident happened, was that another case of clio v6 and wet weather? and of course to hear about any plans to save it or is there one less mars.
Perhaps I'm not suppose to mention it but it would be great to see it up and running especially after all the unique work the car had had. :approve:
