the red and blue pipes are to do with the diff lock, guess the sensor is related
Probably explains why the light came on when the button was pressed but it didn't seem to do much else.

Looking good mate. Be glad to see it go to someone who will use it now that it's back in a good shape.

the diff lock only works in 1st and reverse assuming the dashboard switch works as well

I assumed so, I'd not experimented and with them prone to staying locked on the new owner didn't want to press the button either lol. He has no intentions of making this into a minter, just a fun, usable daily

The pipes are indeed for the diff lock. If they dont connect to anything you are missing the pneumatic actuator off the rear axle. Thats the bit that actuates the rod that jams a pin into the diff to lock it up.

Be good to see the car out as a daily again.

I used it for my daily for about 10 months. Loved it!

You really dont realise what you you can get get away with in these things until you pull a stunt so stupid you think you're going to die and then you come out the other side like "I could have actually done that faster".
I mean, i've been driving mine 16 years and I still frequently think that.

Agreed its great in the twisties and roundabouts as long as you accelerate through I think the limits are going to be hard to find.

So picked it up off haz last week nothing much has been done to it apart from enjoy driving it. I did a few hillclimbs in my dads 2wd a few years ago and its different to drive. My dad also had 2 quadras back in the early 90s probably why I got it really what a car.
Who is your dad? As in my time on the hills we might of crossed paths with the 21s

I remember your dad's (Mike) 21t,
Unfortunately I never made it to Harewood with mine but many people got the two of us confused.
