Headlamp Washer Jet

Hi

Are the Headlamp washer jets on the phase 2 the same as regular Clios/Lagunas etc? I need a near side one and before I get stung at the stealers...maybe I could get a bargain on FleaBay

Regards

you need to watch buying second hand ones or you could end up with a weeping one which will drain your washer bottle!!

Are these easy to change? One of mine is leeking and Renault wanted nearly a £100 to change it as they said you have to remove front bumper?!

Matt,
they are easily accessible from inside the front wheel arch, its a case of removing the wheel and unfastening the arch liner although you don't need to remove it, can be a bit fiddly i seem to remember the Near side being easier to fit than off side.

Yeah can be very fiddly and it helps having skinny fingers!!!

The problem is getting the back large nut off, it can be tight and with the limited access can be a right pig!!

Don't worry about having skinny fingers, you won't have skin on them when you are done :( i think a 22/24mm socket fits over the nut once the pipe is removed, will check got my old ones in the garage

Remember not to overtighten the large back nuts when you put the new ones in.
Warning on the piece of paper in the packet when I did mine.

and don't forget to crimp the pipes before you disconnect them clothes peg will do it, or you will end up with wet legs [smilie=icon_eek.gif]
