5 GT Turbo CV Boot Kit

Hi, another day another question.

I have removed my engine/ subframe etc. to get the bay finally sorted.

While I have everything out I noticed the CV boots are getting a little brittle. Not cracked yet but don’t think they will last long so worth doing while in the bench.

As always im struggle to find replacements listed anywhere, particularly the inners. Are these the same as used on any other models? (Clio etc.)

Buy universal stretch boots, and a cone to fit. Saves you having to disassemble the shafts to fit, and they seem to last absolutely ages. I had a pair on my old Volvo S60 for >100k miles.

Heat them up in a pan of hot water before fitting, and oil the cone up with engine oil.
