As the rear axle was mounted, it was time to get the braking system buttoned up.

Now it's time to do the Bleeding Brakes.... Not looking forwards to that because I need to get CLIP to do it properly...

Thanks for reading. :)

Loving the Caliper colour, changed my fluid on my 182 . Sorry for my ignorance but do you need clip to tell the ABS unit what you are doing?

..but do you need clip to tell the ABS unit what you are doing?

When you fully drain the Braking Hydraulic system, you need to activate the ABS Pump to "Purge" the air from the system.
Many people have tried to pressure bleed the system without the CLIP system, and I'm told it just doesnt work... :negative.gif:

Dug out the Gay-Tec exhaust I'm going to be fitting to the car. It's a used item so I knew it was going to need cleaning up before I put it onto the car..

I'd bought a 4 inch polishing pad set, that's suitable for a grinder:

This makes short work of getting all of the sh1t and oxidisation off the exhaust, before bringing it to a nice sheen with the more effort you put into it:

Here you can see I tried to compare the work I did on the centre section, with a before & after:

The back-box is next.

So @jas_racing did the business on the OE Clio Headlights, restoring them back to better than brand new standard and dropped them back off to me today, so I made a start on getting the front of the car back together.. It came together really quick in the end, And i'm chuffed to bits with how it looks!!
