Clio 225 Clio Build

Yeah it should go well, I'm going to pull the interior out and fire a couple of buckets and a cage, get it track ready!!

I fitted some cobra bucket seats into mine, and as a little extra because I had harnesses and frames off them too direct from the factory, they embossed the Renault Sport logo onto the front and back, finished off nice :)
 
It was through the guys at clioturbo but he got screwed about, so I'm trying. To weight my options just know while he sorts it out... If the 250 turbo is already hybrid then yeah that's what I need
The clio 250 will flow 310 / 320 bhp. You aiming for me ?

Speak to Paul @ RS Tuning. He uses CR turbos to get his hybrids done. However its cheaper to use Paul than goto CR turbos direct.

Yeah they must be hybrids as that's what the 225 when hybrid will give me or a little more, if I had the money I would have went for gt28

Its all about the turbine.

The Meg R26 is a TDO4 14T , the larger meg 250 is a 15T , the proper big uns are 19T.

the GT28 needs a different manifold. Whole new expense then.

Might of been covered but do you have a meggy head too or did all the manifolds bolt up to the 172 head?
 
Well the snail arrived today which I'm grateful for I can now rebuilt the car woohoo!!

Also treated myself to two brand new harnesses as I'm not a lover of the seat belt type

As Mr Bond points out the 250 turbo is a 15T. When I first did my conversion I was running a std 225 turbo, this was swapped over to a 250 unit within weeks and there is a noticeable difference in how the car hold torque at the upper rev range. For around £350 its a happy compromise between staying with the 225 turbo or going hybrid.

Was hoping to go hybrid cazan but being let down but I'll sort something out

Seriously man , call Paul and get it done. His price is cheaper than going to his suppler direct !
