You dont need to. There is an ECU Data window you can pull up with override functionality where you can trigger ign outputs, injectors and all of the aux outputs on the ECU without the engine running. So for example when I built my rad fan loom and wired it to the ECU I didnt need to get the engine to fan temp to test its functionality. I just went in to that screen and enabled the override and it turned my fans on. Very useful when spark testing and injector checking...you can hear the injectors clicking with the engine off.
 
another set back on the car front....guys making the boost pipes says they can't do them its to much of a head ache

car wasn't booked in they were going it when they were free so can't complain to much just annoyed I've lost another week on the thing
 
Got the car back to the unit tonight so it's the first time I've had a look at the boost pipes they told me they couldn't get to fit

One cut with a grinder and a silicone joiner job done... Just need welded now

Figured out my starting issue, I'm needing to move a few pins in the Ecu connector so that's the plan for this weekend

Had a miss hap his week [emoji85][emoji85]... Somehow I managed to to screw up re pinning my Ecu connector

But been in contact with Clioturbo.co.uk and they're gonna sort me out! So wiring loom was pulled out and the adaptronic part was cut away

So I boxed up both adaptronic and ph1 loom and posted it out on Saturday

Should be just plug and play once it's back [emoji16][emoji16][emoji16]

Been a while since I updated this

Got wiring sorted out, then ended up having an issue with the car cutting straight out when firing up

Turned out to be an immobiliser fault in the key, would never have found that myself glad it was in the hands on a great auto spark

Once that was fixed I fired into get the car build up

Then came across rust in the rear drivers sill

Was all cut out and replace with a sill from a cup

I then spend a couple of nights refitting the full cage and the seat

Car was booked in at efi early may for mapping so she deserved a wash

As usual Chris was an absolute gent tried is best to get the car to behave but wasn't to be

Turns out the Walbro in tank pump is goosed, fuel regulator is also on the way out and the alternator was not giving a charge

So back up the road to bonnie Scotland, and with in a couple of day all the parts were ordered and on route.

New alternator and fuel reg are fitted fuel pump and tracing a couple of wires next on the list
