Could it be a Detonation issue?? It's the classic Det Head gasket between 2-3. You'll not hear it in the heat of battle either. Something to double check when you go to the rollers. Absolute pain in the proverbial.

I once blew out a half inch chunk between 2-3 on the 1550 by setting the timing at 36 Deg instead of 29 Deg. It was fine until I revved it out in 3rd , so it blew the gasket in the biggest cloud of steam in about 3 seconds and I never heard it yet. By the time it leaves mark's on the pistons it's been bad for some time. Dependant on State of tune, customers mechanical sympathy and intended use, my Dyno man will back off the timing about 2 degrees from optimum, as a bit of insurance. Also helps cover fuel variations.
As with everything in life it comes down to the length of your arms and the depth of your pockets.......
Good luck for this season.
So we have 70 bhp difference on the dial which is perfect. Each click will give us 7 bhp.
Will be running the car around 250 bhp which will be setting 7 for reliability and will still be quick.
Number 12 is qually mode, only to be used for one lap. 260 ft/lb
Also got push to pass which gives us 5 psi for 5 seconds.
