we are able to do full ecu remaps on the rollers now as well.... circa £700, takes all day to do..
After the zorst group buy is out of the way a few of us with be looking into this. The question is what could we expect to gain (more torque, better spread of torque, lower power band, more power etc)? It's hard to justify / sell this sort of thing with unknown gains.
I really need to known as accurately as possible what we would gain with a custom remap on:
a 100% std mk1
a mk1 with a new back box or induction kit.
a mk1 with a new back box and induction kit.
a mk1 with a full new zorst system.
a mk1 with a full new zorst system and induction kit.
a 100% std mk2
a mk2 with a new back box or induction kit.
a mk2 with a new back box and induction kit.
a mk2 with a full new zorst system.
a mk2 with a full new zorst system and induction kit.
The thing is i'm guessing no one knows with any certainty!
Which means we would be investing £700 and invalidating any warranty etc for unknown benefit.
