Volvo Daf 66 Gordini Turbo

Hi, I loved reading about your turbo 1690cc project, in the early 1980s Salv built a 1550 motor for a Daf 66, which apparently surprised a lot of people.
I still have the CCC article on John Bevans Daf which had a 1289cc tweeked motor for rally cross, and of Course the De Roy brothers Jan and Harry's Camel sponsored Rally cross cars both BDA powered.

Your 1690cc Sacco stroker kit is as what I pioneered/ran for Salv when he first found a small batch of the Dacia Cranks,
It was awesome [and still is] in my R8Gordini Sprint/Hillclimb car which Salv used to double drive with me.
These strokers seem to be everywhere these days.
I am currently pioneering a Twingo RS 133 in the back of my R8G which is awaiting the Salv treatment to abstract as many BHP as is possible, this 16v unit bolts directly to the R8 stud pattern in the bellhousing and takes an R5G 7 bolt flywheel,
its a possibility for your Daf with its variomatic flywheel.
Cheers
Dave
