My Mk1 plaque is identical to that (obviously not the number) but it is attached with x4 screws, one in each corner. Although the black screws are the same, strange eh?

Mk1 owners, how are your plaques attached?
 


Mines held by four. I've seen a mix of both on cars so maybe they secured them down better on later cars lol.

You mean they had some screws left over from putting the rest of the car together.. heheh :rofl:

Al your Vee and Oldskoolbaby's are imports. The seem to all have 4 screws.
 
Mine was 231..i might have a pic somehwere - James feel free to update the register as its no longer mine
