Following @DaveL485 ’s recommendation, @Millie_Bee and I watched this on Sat night. GREAT feel good docu-movie.. a solid 8/10
Excellent and thoroughly deserved 7.8/10 on IMDB, i'll even raise that to an 8/10. One of the best docu-dramas i've watched.

Superman Returns (2006)
Watched it cos I didnt remember seeing it before (I mean, I know I watched it but it's lost in the little grey cells somewhere). Meh. Anyone other than Henry Cavill as Superman now seems pap. Cheesy and average, 5/10.
Man of Steel (2013)
Much better, enjoyed it all the way through, 8/10 from me. Even Kevin Costner wasn't shite. I think this might have been the last DC film that wasn't a pile of crap with a bit of glitter chucked on top.

Been watching the Alien films with my kids as i've always been a big fan and they're old enough now, and though 3 is my least-favourite of the Ripley based quadrilogy, I enjoyed it more this time around than I have previously. Its aged well, save for the parts where the Alien is fully animated which is obviously now 30yo CGI. I thought the man-in-the-suit parts were much better. I might even have give it an 8, rather than 7.5 if they hadn't killed Hicks and Newt off
7.5/10, with an 8.5/10 for Alien (41 years old now!) and 10/10 for Aliens (Directors cut) which is one of my top-10-of-all-time.

I think Mila Jovovitch, having run out of Resident Evil films after Resident Evil 47 (or was it 48?), is shopping for another computer game franchise to milk for the next decade.

Tony Jaa has sold out to Hollywood by the looks of it and is just churning out bilge, what happened to the Ong Bak guy? We dont want you to talk mate, we just want flying knees to the face!!

Netflix documentary about fishing and the quite frankly staggering cruelty influcted on marine life. I never knew about the significance of "Byecatch" before this, it's shocking, as is the spectacular ignorance toward the damage overfishing is doing.
Thoroughly pissed me off. 9/10, would recommend.

I was almost sick watching the Faroe people absolutely slaughter the whales, herding them up, even the pregnant ones and slashing them deep and letting them all bleed out.
The whole bay turned red from the blood.
And that was "sustainable" fishing.

Godzilla Vs Kong
Now I really liked King of the Monsters, but this was just trash. 3/10. I can't even be arsed to write any slander on it.
Dark Web: Cicada 3301
Think clue-searching chase around shenanigans a-la National Treasure but Dark Web/Hacker band. Also: Not that good. Tries to be too clever on the story and fails miserably on the tech side. 5/10 passed some time.
Fortunately the next two films are our salvation.
What happened to Monday?
I really liked this, i'm going for a solid 8.5/10. New concept, I didnt think it was too predictable, and seven people (identical Septuplets) very competently acted by just one actor. The special effects around this and the way the seven interact is super clever, I was well impressed. Would recommend if you havent seen it.

We watched this Sunday, my 15yo daughter was keen to see it (I wonder why?!), but you know what, I really liked this one too, based in the future in a settler colony on a world where all men have 'noise', your thoughts are manifested out loud by an aura of sorts. Some nice twists, nothing too complex though, fairly well shot and cracked along at a decent pace. Also would recommend! 8.5/10

Hmmm, well having never really watched anything since that Godzilla cartoon back when I was a kid, which featured a boat and Godzooky... (Google it, you’ll remember if you’re as old as me) I thought it would give this a watch as it was featured on my takeaway pizza box...
Wow, a great movie to kill a couple of hours and watch CGI fighting... never did I realise there were so many buildings to smash over another monsters head.
Honestly left Sarah and I asking WTF just happened at the end of it..

The Mitchells Vs The Machines
Good family movie, watched it with the Mrs (we are 43), the kids (15/13/10) and it had us all laughing out loud. 9/10 for a Saturday family movie.
The Virtuoso
Was a bit of a slow burner but felt like a more realistic representation of a modern day assassin, builds to an interesting ending thats for sure. 8/10 - give it a chance.
The Courier
Another slow burner, but kept my attention. I'm not sure Benderdick Cucumbersnatch was the best choice for the lead tbh but the film worked and gave me some true-story info I didnt know before on the cuban missile crisis. 7/10 - palatable.

I saw a trailer for A Quiet Place 2 last week, but hadn't seen the original
So I gave it a bash. One thing I can be sure of, if those aliens ever come here my entire family is wormfood, they couldnt stay quiet for more than about 8 seconds! I enjoyed the film, 8/10 and will watch the sequel.
I also watched Those Who Wish Me Dead
Passable, in the current film draught. The assassins were deliciously brutal & cold blooded. 7/10.
And - classic viewing
With my kids being a bit older now and able to watch more adult films I am enjoying going through the classics with them, we've done Bourne, Bond (Daniel Craig ones), Alien... now it's Predator 1 & 2
I find 1 better than 2 - does it get any more 80's macho than the minigun/forest scene? 8/10 for Predator 2, 9/10 for the first one.

2 films below, both with basically the same plot. Old military geezer finds himself stuck with young kid whose parents are dead, commits to taking her home to (family), faces hardships and drama, gets there in the end. However:
The Marksman
Holy shit Liam Neeson is doing the same thing Bruce Willis and Stallone and Nic Cage did, just accepting any old drivel script that pays money. Absolute pile of shite, crap story, crap action, crap acting, and nothing remotely "Marksman" about it, absolute dross. 2/10.
News of the World
Absolute opposite of the above, really enjoyed it. Highlighted the absolute injustices done to the native Americans and the pillaging of the natural resources...but subtle. Didn't feel like a political agenda as happens so much nowadays. All the feels at the end. Better to watch this twice than waste your eyeballs on The Marksman. 8.5/10

Continues directly after the first one. Much in the same vein, survival struggle against the sound sensitive monsters. I really enjoyed it, if you liked the first one you'll like the second one. 8/10.

This was excellent. Renewed for season 2 I believe. Also heard this broke Amazon's viewing records too.Not a film but a series.
The Farm on Prime.
It’s superb. Yes it has Clarkson in it but I think it’s the best thing he has ever done.
Sure there is some stuff for the camera but nothing the TGT or the latter years of TG
