Prequel to Army of the Dead, the story of the safecracker. Apart from the wholly unrealistic way he seemed to be able to magically crack mega-safe's with nothing more than his ear, it was entertaining enough. Predicatble, but passable. 7/10.

Spider Man No way home

Watched this yesterday morning at the first showing locally. WOW great film with some stunning effects. Hard to describe without ruining it, If you are very much into your Marvel films there is plenty in it for you. Up there with one of the best films yet, way better than the others this side of Infinity Wars. Has a lot of feels and tingle moments, a lot of nods and Easter eggs. A little predictable in places but then I find that with most films these days. Definitely worth watching and doesn't really follow the line I was expecting when I went in there.

its a tough act to follow, that said they were the culmination of 10 years of story telling. I guess its a reset and start again for them all, a new story to tell.

If you do go to watch it there are 2 post credits, one is more a full length trailer rather than a "normal" scene

Netflix’s latest big budget offering about the impending doom of a big meteorite heading towards Earth and how the media, politicians and public would react to such an event.

Very heavily skewed towards the American take on it all, but much of it is a little too close to home about how we would all react given the global Media & Politics circus has aligned countries.

Quite frightening about the suggestions it makes about us all.. 100% suggest you need to watch it!

Dark Dark humour, many little clever pieces of writing and acting.

I very much enjoyed it, and will be thinking of it for a few days…

They should have left it dead and buried. It was a poor attempt at explaining away some things and it just felt like a desperate money grab at best. There are almost zero redeeming features in the film that I recall.

Yes I watched that too recently, and was totally unimpressed by it… there’s a comment in the film that says something like “Warner Bros want another sequel, and they don’t care” and it feels like you’re watching that take place!

Didn’t need to come back, nothing added to the legacy, and you could argue, it’s a bloody remake of the first!

OK so the plot means we need to be ready for some slightly stretched realities - but this was absofuckinglutely ridiculous.

Written by mongs with absolutely no understanding of science, physics or rockets/space ships. Awful cliche's, genuine cringe barf terrible.

You can't fly a retired space shuttle off the planet a few days after you drag it out of a MUSEUM you absolute shite-dribbling wankers.

3.5/10 at most because even this garbage is better than watching a romcom.

They rock up at a naval museum, fire up a WW2 battleship and go off to battle aliens in it crewed with WW2 vets. Supposedly still loaded with fuel and ammo or whatever.

Not too bad, enjoyed it. Ryan Gosling, who I am not a fan of really, suited the subdued assassin sort. Had to get used to Captain America as the bad guy, but he didnt do so bad either. Sort of predictable, but, it gets so messy you dont mind.

Great action scenes, couple of OTT stunts but generally quite good. Best film I watched of the 3 this weekend. 7/10.

THEMS FIGHTING WORDS! great comic book movie based on a comic book.... absolutely loved it, the goats made me laugh constantly. Great hilarity with a serious side, Bale was awesome to see as a marvel bad guy. The film is told as a story by Korg so don't take it as a direct happening more as a tale of Thor. ( I think you may have missed this part Steve..... note the gods and all their appearances)
