It was a std bore and stroke built by sav Sacco! Built to slightly better than 210cv! Had a tdc cam, 6.x:1 comp, 4to1 exhaust manifold but turbo is std location. Charge cooler and efi

It had been converted before I got it by a so called tuning company! Never ran right, so 12 months with Dr Glen @ Dynotech and a phone call of it runs so much advance I keep running out of fuel! It's a monster.......

@rogerreno @stu21t will tell you how quick it was when let off the lead!!! (Had a rather quick play with a very fast m3!!) It made it to the 20th birthday of the gtt in France 10 years ago and even with a small mishap...... Did 31mpg!!!!

Just a shame that a) I sold it and b) the next people to play with it had no idea to how to tune a low comp engine! It lost it mojo and you could hear how lazy it sounded in all videos that got posted of it

Small update...trying to suss out whether the aux air valve was causing the high idle. I didn't have a freezer handy to test it but gave it a clean anways...

& that is just about up to date I wasn't happy with the oil pressure after getting the car back, so decided on a proper rebuild. Then decided on a new engine instead - a 210 CV build. Pics to follow.....

Thanks for the kind words but that is unlikely fella - there was 4 cars taken from the same place (2 of them mine), they had to get through a wall to get in. I don't think it's being used for ram raiding a sweet shop as we speak...!

I will speak to a contact in France for you as this car is prob already out of the country by now!! The market for them on the water is very big! I fit trackers on cars for a living and car theft is a big problem again!! Classics need tracking as they are easy to steal! The Lancia boys are having the same problems at the mo!!Really hope it gets found as this is terrible news.

Didn\'t find it in there either>>!\n \nI spoke to the manager of the storage place late yesterday and the information about South Bank came from the police, saying \'the cars\' had been seen on the A66 late Friday night, then Southbank on Saturday day time. She didn\'t know a specific time. They seemed to be talking more about the Swift though. I don\'t want to be pessimistic but if the car was targeted then it will probably disappear.\n \nThere\'s two ways it can go now - either the car is off to Europe whole or in bits, ....or I\'ll get a phone call about a puddle of melted plastic/twisted metal somewhere...\n \n@DaveL485, there was a time gap mate, giving some hope but...waiting for phonecall as above....great to know that the likes of Evo mag can pass on the message. The swift has been found on another quiet road in the area. The area is quiet where that is James - looks like both have been stashed out of the way to see if any trackers are fitted etc

The Swift is not mine mate but I will pass that information on, thanks for that. Hopefully there is a RVF 400 NC35 down there also...that is mine (or was)

They had trackers alright...."The Internet"! Really pleased the T2 and Swift have been found mate, if there is any negative fallout from the theft then it's nothing some spanners can't fix which is a billion times better than finding a burned wreck or even worse the cars being chopshopped and vanishing. Im am amazed in the best way possible how this has worked out

No comment from me on trackers but yes exactly I think the net played a big part.\n \nVery true, Dave - unless they have bumped it then the only thing that can hurt really is the turbo, which was due a rebuild/change out anyway. ANyway don\'t want to get ahead of myself yet...need to see it in the flesh
