Standard Alloy Wheel Colour

Im going to have my alloys repainted on my PH2 next month at Platinum in Swindon, discussed the slightly different colours of the Phase 1 and Phase 2 where they mentioned two colours 'platinum', or 'Sparkle' Silver. Anybody referenced these names before, just need to ensure i dont get the 'duller' option, so im assuming Sparkle? By their list anyway..

Sparkle sound closer to Crystal Silver (standard)

It was definitely Chrystal Silver when they were Lepsons.. I'm sure they know the correct colour, they do enough of them from Scott.

I had a painter baffle my head the other week. Saying the standard couldn't have a black undercoat as it wouldn't look right, he was saying it was a flat colour, and not metallic.
In the end I never got them done.

Just for info if anyone deals with Platinum direct, on their books the specialist finish 'Platinum' (coincidentally) is the Phase 2 colour, confirmed by Scott that he requests 'Platinum' for PH2 wheel refurbs too.

Resurrecting the old thread, I'm going to refurbish my wheels too. The wheels have had respray done (very poor quality too!) so I can't get the workshop to colour match.

Does anyone know the colour code for this Platinum Silver? Is it a Renault colour?

Try looking on renault Ixel paints catalogue.

I know from years ago Rover platinum was extremely close to phase 1 wheels.
