Talking about the FW14B, below is an interesting tweet with a plot showing Nigel Mansell's 1:18.96 pole lap ahead of the 1992 British GP - he was around 2 seconds faster than his team mate (Riccardo Patrese) and 3 seconds faster than Aryton Senna!
"25 years ago I gave @nigelmansell this graph. Possibly the most dominant pole ever!" - Paddy Lowe
The Domination Game

Would be great to see (and hear) the FW14B on track again..............

Oh I wonder if I have the odd email to read.
Indeed, but far less emails this year when compared the previous years. ;)

Lol James, I no doubt I spoke too soon, but at least we managed to sort that out

Layout looks good - we might have to park two cars line astern at the head of the chevron, make each side 6 cars if space permits.

Look forward to meeting you all on Friday / Saturday. I'm aiming to arrive before 9 to avoid the queues. With all this rain we might be sliding in backwards to the Silverstone infield area.

Likewise Peter, looking forward to meeting you.

...plus I'm hoping the predicted drier weather will improve matters underfoot/tyre.

Indeed, look forward to meeting you all too.

Weather is set to improve on Saturday onwards.......I am sure the weather will not be as bad as it was in 2015, when we almost ended up slip-sliding our way around the F1 circuit.

Great to be back again.....

If anyone wants some strong black coffee in the morning then bring a spare mug. I'll be bringing a couple of large flasks.

Rotate 90 degrees anti clockwise, put a fairy on top and its Christmas :troll:

A fitting end to a cracking weekend......

Looks like the folks at Modern Classics magazine are quite smitten by the Vee (watch the video): Renault Clio V6s on the V6Clio.net stand at the Silverstone Classic
Shame that the wind noise and those pesky Jags drown out most of the commentary!

Kett's cool Acid appears to be the 'chosen one', and rightly so. :approve:

The Vee was featured in a write up following the 2016 event as well:

Enjoyed the Silverstone Classic. Good to meet you all. Icing on the Clio cake to see Modern Classics Magazine taking an interest. I can only assume Kett was holding the camera for him though? I've posted some pics up in the Gallery.
