Clio V6 & R5 Turbo anniversaries 2025

For those who havent seen the social media posts, there's a major meeting planned in France for 2025.

Message from our friends at V6passion, who would be thrilled to have us attend:

"We're organising a big gathering to celebrate the birthdays of the R5 and Clio V6 on the last weekend of August 2025.

The main day will be Saturday 30 August at the Magny-Cours club circuit, not the F1 circuit.

There will be two options for attendees: a dynamic version to drive around the circuit and a static version to display the vehicles.

There will also be a gala dinner with Jean RAGNOTTI and other surprise guests.

On Sunday, there will be either a morning drive or a chat with the VIPs present, followed by lunch.

It will be possible to arrive late on Friday and dine with the participants.

Registrations will be be live in January and we will communicate on this event via social networks."

There will no doubt be some very special cars on display and it will the sort of event that we haven't seen in quite a few years now. Anyone up for a road trip? :race:

Very very tempted for this. Anybody Scotland, the North fancy looking at a large car transporter. I'd be inclined Newcastle to Amsterdam then down but either way it is still a bit of a trek :/

I have subscribed to this thread and intend to attend/participate in the proceedings.

A road trip seems like a great idea...

Duncan, will you be updating this thread on the logistics?

I would like to attend, but possible clash with summer holiday.

I'm taking the Vee to Spa again in May, would defo drive it to this also.

Get driving kids, transporters and trailers are for wuss's!

Hi all, registration is open.

Registration is per car, not per person. So the driver of each car will need to fill the form out.

Entrance to the circuit is only permit to Renaultsport and Alpine cars. So you cannot gain access if you turn up in any other marque.

There's dynamic and static display options. If you want to drive on the circuit, you will need proof of circuit insurance valid on that day.

The info in French is here:

The registration forms have an English translation on them, but the payment in the HelloAsso ticket office is in French only. If you have any problems, I'm happy to help.

I understand that 2 people, static display, Saturday and Sunday is 345 Euro total.

Registration form and payment: link

- Payment by bank transfer or credit card ( preferred! ) - Once the registration form is completed, a link to the HelloAsso ticket office will be sent to you for payment.

Accommodation:

There is a hotel on site link, but there is a Porsche meet occurring on the same day on the F1 circuit, so rooms may disappear fast. There are still rooms on booking.com at time of writing this.

There are a number of other nearby hotels and airbnbs.
