Silverstone Classic 2021 Information

The FAQ says: Can I leave my car overnight on the infield during the event?

Yes, your car can be left overnight on the infield (at your own risk), but it must have a valid Infield Pass for the following day. No cars must be left on the infield overnight on the Sunday.

There will be an umbrella for cleedubber and Dougieboy1 underneath the table in the tent.

I've searched through the thread, but what is the 'car club code' for the form that you is required before tickets etc can be sent out?

Is anyone else leaving theirs inside the circuit ?

Also, Has anyone used the on-site valet service before ?

Im hoping we don’t need the umbrellas this year

UPDATE

Seems like members have begun to receive their Infield Display Passes, which is good news. If you haven't received your pass by Friday (23rd July) please let me know.

The organisers have informed me that "...the email for downloading entry tickets has not been sent yet and will go 2 weeks before the event", which means those of you who bought your CCD package in 2021 will receive an email with the download link. As such, please keep an eye on your Inbox and Junk Email folder. If by any chance you don't receive said email by Tuesday (27th) please let me know.

COVID-19 Safety Measures:
To keep our event safe from transmission and to help make you feel as safe and comfortable as possible, we will be implementing some Covid-19 measures.

Lateral Flow Tests - You may wish to consider completing Lateral Flow Tests to monitor your wellbeing in advance of and during the event.
Masks - we encourage face coverings to be worn in indoor settings (except when eating or sitting at desk, both socially distanced) and in public areas.
Social distancing - Whilst the general public will no longer be required to social distance, we will be encouraging our own team members to maintain social distancing from each other and other persons at all times, to avoid becoming a close contact of Covid-19. This will maximize efforts to keep each person safe and participating throughout the whole event.

It’s important to be aware that the requirement for close contacts of someone testing positive for COVID to isolate will still be in place until 16th August so these measures are in place to not only protect you but also protect our joint ability to operate the event. These measures are based upon what has been agreed by the local authority.

Please adhere to the above guidelines at all times when you are at the event. We know that government guidelines are to be relaxed on 19th July, but it does help if we all act responsibly and take the necessary precautions.

As per the guidelines provided, if you wish to take one or more Lateral Flow Tests, please order a sufficient number of these test free of charge from the gov.uk website. You can order one pack of 7 at a time so depending on the number of days you are due to be working on site it may be necessary to order 2 packs. If you haven't done this before, I would highly recommend you do, especially if you haven't been vaccinated. Once ordered, the tests are delivered to your address within two days (I received ours the next day!), and once you test yourself, you can upload the results online - instructions are provided, but here is an instructional video for those interested: LINK

Please also bring a face covering (mask) with you and wear it when indoors, particularly if it rains and we all have to huddle inside the club's marquee. We will have hand sanitisers available inside the marquee.

Lastly, don't forget to download and print out the PDFs attached here: LINK

1. General admission ticket (car club display package)
2. Programme voucher

I have a blue 'C gate' infield pass that was posted to me

I have also printed off the Parade lap sign on sheet but from the timetable it looks like the Vee lap is on friday and i am only attending saturday, so i presume this is superfluous?

I dont think i need anything else do i?

Looking forward to meeting other vee owners for the first time....and getting a vee brolly! Would have been useful earlier in the week!!!!

Going to give the car a wash this weekend....

The Clio V6 Parade Lap is to be held on SATURDAY (31st), so those attending on the 31st please print out and bring the Parade Lap Signup form with you.

Dougieboy1 was right! I had attached the wrong version of the Track Parade Instructions, which has now been corrected. As such, please download the latest version: DOWNLOAD LINKS

Also, received the following from the organisers:
"Motul extend an invitation for you to join them throughout the weekend with refreshments available to car club members all day long! They’ve got Motul experts on standby to help with your technical questions too, so pay them a visit."

Hi

I can’t find my email from last year.
However I’m finding some tickets on my bookings that have a booking ref, name etc on it with a barcode. Is that what I need for entry ?
