Silverstone Classic 2013 26th, 27th & 28th July

Ok guys, I'd like to wrap this up over the coming week or so ticket wise. If anybody wishes to grab their own tickets via the Silverstone website then thats cool. For those wishing for me to sort them, could you please be kind enough to send me a cheque or if you prefer, a transfer via PayPal.
I'll send everyone a pm with my details and await for the payments to come in. Once all payments are in, I'll send a single payment off to the Silverstone events team and await the tickets.

Final Checks

Can anyone who has not received a pm from me regarding ticket prices and payment details please contact me.

Ah nuts. Just pinged you the money Brett but, as I'm riding shotgun with Nas, I don't think I even needed a ticket as his pass will come with 2x adult tickets! Am I right? :s

OldSkoolBaby, can you help me out here...

If I'm only coming sunday, with one other person, can I get the CCM package or am I too late?

How much do I owe you for 2 people on sunday with one car

I'll transfer the dosh over to you POSTHASTE

Cheers mate

(C13277 didn't work, presumably too late)

I have one spare ticket for tomorrow (28th) - my wife is not feeling well so she has decided to give it a miss. Although the tickets were bought as part of the Porsche Club GB CCM package I have checked with the organisers and have been informed that I can pass a ticket on to another party. As such, if anybody's interested please PM me. If you wish to check for yourself please call 01483 524424 (Ticket No. 670).

It would be a real shame to let a ticket to this fantastic event go to waste.......

PS: If you are so inclined you are also more than welcome to join me on the parade lap as well!

EDIT: Ticket's now gone to Brett...........you guys are quick off the mark - the ticket was turned down by three other parties (before I posted it up here) since they had other commitments.

Hi guys,

For those of you attending tomorrow and have club fliers could you please bring them. We have had a fair bit of interest in Shaun's car alone so with a lot more cars here it'll be nice to hand them out.

Also, for the benefit of yourselves, get here as early as you can. It is VERY busy here and it will make parking much easier for you.

As a quick heads up, yesterday was fantastic and judging by the weather it will be even better today. The open pit lane is bloody amazing.

really looking forward to tommorow if not the earlystart. talking of which what sort of arrival time are you suggesting cos i cant cope with queueing on a sunday.

Indeed, hope to see everybody from v6Clio.net sometime tomorrow.

One highlight would be watching this capable lady piloting a 962 in the Group C class: LINK

How capable is she you ask? Well here is a showdown between a 458 Italia and a GT3R (her own race car): LINK

Please can all attendees be in BEFORE 9.00 am Any time after that, and you may have trouble getting in. Queuing to get was time consuming earlier today, and no club movement is allowed after 10.00 am.

FYI, we have been moved to a much larger plot, on grass for tomorrow. This is after concerns that we'd not all fit on our original plot. We are now in the area just over the second bridge, over the roundabout and on the right. Those that have attended WSR privously will recognise it. Our club tent will be up, so you shouldn't miss us. :)

This is my first time at Silvertone Classic, and it is fantastic!! Can't believe it's eluded me until now! Definitely an event for the 2014 Callander and beyond!

See you all tomorrow. [cmilie=iconcheers.gif]

For all others wondering exactly where we are,

I think I've dried-off now!

There we were, nice and dry in our Club gazebo before the rain started, saw the clouds gather and decided to head-off to find somewhere to be before the rain hit.

Oops!

After sheltering in the ClioV6 gazebo (thanks guys), went back to ours for a proper dry-off listening to the Lambo's overheating in the queues outside, helped get the ally frame off that poor Reliant SS, then thought about going and seeing some more racing. After seeing 3 or 4 safety
