In RS Mode yeah, it really pulls say in 3rd gear. Auto mode changes the gears early whereas RS mode holds out much longer so with the extra torque it just goes. With the paddles you can blip downshift and just nail it foot hard down. It would be nice to compare it to something else to have a real world idea of how quick it actually is.
I've also downloaded the RS Monitor app which logs 0-60 times etc so I might give that a go.
If only Renault released the figures

Please stop. I keep browsing for these. At that MPG and price point I am struggling to find a reason not to buy one as my Company Car. literally the only thing stopping me viewing cars right now is the fact they're not supposed to tow trailers, thats the only box thats not ticked.

7.8 gallons, so there's about 2 gallons left when the light comes on.
No I didn't it was too bad for what it is, that's mostly on cruise control about 70mph. Building up a picture of what's it gonna give me in all scenarios, at least when it comes to planning euro trips I know what to allow for petrol outlay.
Ordered some RS mats from my local Renault, they should be in this Friday. Managed to get them £10 cheaper than Renault parts direct, I know the bloke really well and has given me discount on all the parts I've bought over the years.
While I was there I also spoke to the service department about the updated gearbox software. As it's not a recall I have to pay £48 so I thought sod it and booked it in to be done a week Saturday. They've also put a note on the job sheet about whether the RS monitor can be retrofitted so the mechanic is looking into that too. The service chap seemed to think it depends whether the loom in mine caters for it with the plugs, we'll see
