Retro Renault

As some of you know I also own a Renault 19 16v.

Well as a result I frequent the Retro Renault site which is predominently 19 based. Its a great site, and has some really useful information on it. Possibly our future site could use some if their ideas.

Anyway, I was trawling through a 21 turbo related post, and came across the following message. Have we ever done anything to upset this guy. Well I decided to stick up for you lot, so be inetrested to see how this particular post ends :lol:

I know Chris H (stays not far from me, been round to his for a brew alot) and tbh it does not surprise me him saying that, he is very cutting and straight to the point ... Phil, if you go on the site alot and read his posts you will know what im talking about ...... Chris has fell foul of alot of clubs due to his directness, but he one of the main founder's of retrorenault so he is well in there. I used to go onto the site alot but the last year iv have not as there are some twats that use it and if they dont like what you say they tend to gang up on you, they are very very cliqie, and its mostly 1916v based.

As i know Chris, i really would not take what he has said to heart, its just his nature, he is about 22 yrs old, but the guy is really clued up, and what he does'nt know about 1916v's is really not worth knowing, but i also think if you were to cut him he would bleed oil.

I agree Roddy - he knows his stuff, and I certainly don't take it to heart, but as I said 21toc - I have good friends here, and were just defending us all.

oh yeah ? and why was that Tim ? Because you stand with craig if i can remember right ? You where the exeption, all the other turned there back... What a nice club that was... 4 cars from belgium, 300 from UK. You get the picture ? :roll:

Its like you guy's come to belgium and none of the belgium members speak to you. No, in belgium whe do it the other way...RESPECT, when people make the trip !

Basically its turned into what we call a 'chav culture' in that club... the new 'President' is about 12 years old and has more pointless bling on his car than Mr T... Not that im slating personal taste its just the way the club has gone... little 17year olds ragging around their 5's and blowing them up.. then scrapping them because a tuning company wants ?500 to do a head gasket.


Not to mention the fact that 21's and all other renault turbo's were in a minority.

When your car was vandalised at National Day it made me sick.. i with a few others did our best to find out who was to blame but no-one seemed to want to talk - typical of that place, most of them would probably rob their own grandma.
