Suppose I should start a proper project thread covering the history of the car back to the mighty Scoff's original rwd c1j conversion

Just purchased race technology Dash2 PRO CAN & GPS gulp! But will work very well with the syvec ecu and also tick gear selected for DSG......NO kidney's left!!!

I did look at the 3.0 s/c tfsi, rs4 v8 and even the newer v6 turbo tfsi as below, very compact and turbo in the v but the 5 pot is special and prob best transverse lump mated to 7 speed later dsg box......sounds great and far easier setup for mid engine conversion

It was originally going into vx220 which I have mounts made but decided the 5 was the right option

Yes, Its 1 of two conversions I would like to do. If you have a price in mind would you mind letting me know? Would really like it but cant commit to nothing at the minute.

1.8 20vt engine / box, exhaust few other bits thinking £800

Probable worth me removing everything and see what else is not needed for a package price with subframe, i/c etc etc

Stock turbo subframe so would bolt into front other than needing steering rack

Hope to have most of the big stuff in the next couple of months ticked off

Ok np, in no mad rush and love to see it stay attached to a Renault 5.....its an epic setup in the front and wish I never sold my old black vag 5.
