5 GT Turbo Renault 5 campus.....for summer boostings

Took the 5 out for a blast today. Removed and charged the battery over night and she started with minimal fuss. Throttle cable was a little stiff but freed off nicely with a squire of wd40 and a drive. Got a few quick shots just in case I write a for sale thread.

its been another 10 days since i drove her and still not found the time to do a few odd jobs and enjoy her with the other cars to play with so she is definitely available for sale.

Spec would be

Engine
brand new 270 deg piper cam
brand new crank and big and main shells
Uprated head gasket
12.9 headbolts
tweaked 27mm venturi carb
t28 hybrid turbo (leaking, lets out a little oil bernies blowers will refurb for 200)
brand new volvo clutch
turborenault.co.uk true 2.5inch down pipe
2 1/4inch side exit
Brand new uprated engine mounts
Oil pressure and boost gauges also installed

And everything else needed for a full gt turbo engine conversion (fuel lines, sender, fpr ect)

Chassis
Oem with 50mm lowering springs and rear dropped a little

A048 semi slicks

Really this car needs some gt turbo brakes and a gt turbo dash (original dash shows fuel level!)
luckily i have some brand new gt turbo disks and genuine renault pads to go with it along with a pair of gt turbo calipers needing refurb and a set of gt turbo clocks. The clocks will require a little rewiring to work.

All in all a good clean fun silly car that has the potential for 200+bhp and it weighs less than 800kgs!
