Another day in the Garage today, and first job was to get the fog-lights mounted to the front bumper.
As I mentioned previously, 3 out of the 4 captive nuts were missing from when they were all rusted to the screws during the tear down. So I got myself some new stainless captive nuts and figured out re-fitting them.
The holes for them are blind as the fog-light housing is a separate part to the front bumper that’s riveted on. So first job was to drill a thru-hole to allow me to fit the fastener:

Next i needed to Dremel out the rear of the hole to a square to allow the fastener to go in:

Then it was just a case of juggling the captive nut into place:

With the fog lights now properly fastened, I then tentatively fitted the bumper to the car:

Encouraged by how it looked, I then unpacked the freshly painted hockey sticks

That go under the headlights:

Then I just went crazy, and fitted the rest of the front of the car!!

Cars looking really great now!!
