I have just cleaned my TB and ISCV as was idleing rough, but now ive done that the idle is sitting bout 1400 rpm and cant get it down, would anyone have a idea why this is? Cheers.

ok thats right, tap the ICV with a screwdriver handle, see iuf the revs drop then, if they do new icv time.

Also unplug the CTS, this will default it to runnign temp and stop cold start enrichment, if that drops the idle to normal then the CTS needs replaced.

Havnt got screwdriver so alternativly gt a 12lb sledge hammer with extra long handle for extra swing, would this sort the job!

Coolant Temp Sensor

In the gearbox end of the cylinder head. If it's a phase 1 or early phase 2, it's screwed directly into the head, if its a later phase 2, it's screwed into the thermostat housing. It has a white square plug on it.

To preempt your next question: Yes, there is also another sensor with a brown plug, that is NOT the one you want.
