5 Mk I incl Gordini R5 Alpine Turbo Idling & Acceleration

Hi all

Hoping someone here can help us. We bought a 1983 R5 Alpine Turbo few years back.

Pretty much restored now but recently bought a new carb kit on eBay, took to local Renault garage who rebuilt the carb, now the idling is all over the place, up and down when sitting, when you rev it, the revs go up quick and hard to balance. The aftermarket fuel filter seems to never feel right up with fuel?

Any ideas what I should check / do next?

Check O ring on the cross over pipe is sealing in the turbo outlet.

Thanks will check that. I found some info on old threads and put more fuel in also. Tried moving the timing but not sure I’m seeing the correct line to line up
